Interest in Biofriga’s solutions continues to grow even beyond Sweden’s borders. The company was recently featured in the Norwegian media, which highlighted our technology and business concept of enabling the profitable liquefaction of biogas even for smaller producers.
The article highlights, among other things, the technological gap in today’s liquefaction solutions, where smaller biogas operators often lack competitive alternatives. Biofriga’s technology addresses precisely this by combining upgrading and liquefaction in a single process tailored for smaller volumes.
Furthermore, it highlights the ongoing structural shift in the market, where demand is shifting from compressed biogas (CBG) to liquefied biogas (LBG). This creates both challenges and opportunities for existing producers, for whom Biofriga offers a concrete solution. Biofrigas sees significant market potential, not least in the Nordic region where the majority of biogas plants fall within the production range for which the technology has been developed.
