Can you tell us a bit about your role and what you do here at the company?
Chairman of the Board
What is the best thing about working at Biofrigas?
A company that wants to help create the change needed from fossil fuels. A circular energy cycle is a very good idea. Then, like other companies, we work with business and operational development. As the board of a small company, support for the CEO and others in the organisation is key.
What does a normal working day look like for you?
More like a normal week from a board perspective. To be there when it happens, and there is always something going on. As chairman of the board, it is primarily to have continuous contact with the CEO. In addition, there is contact with the other board members and owners.
What are the biggest challenges in your job, and what do you like most about solving them?
The chairman of the board is the team leader of the board. That we are on the same page and can support the CEO in a good way. We work according to a planned board year but then things happen that need to be dealt with. Availability is important.
What inspires you in your work?
To create value. Seeing the company develop in the right direction.
What do you like to do when you are not working? Any hobbies or interests?
Like everyone else; family and friends. The forest is my element for recovery and during winter with hunting.
How do you stay motivated and engaged in your work?
Meeting with people. Engaging conversations to create good solutions.
Can you tell us about something fun or unexpected you have experienced at work?
When we managed to lift the technology to a new level, every LOI that is entered into, when the issue landed as planned, there are many funny situations, even if they were not unexpected, it was really fun. Sharing the joy with the rest of the companies is a good feeling.
If you could describe your job in three words, what would they be?
Growth, benefit and teamwork.
